vital signs

4

Leeds University researchers have developed a mobile phone which can measure the vital signs of a patient. The advantage of this phone is that it would cut down on the number of visit to the doctor’s clinic and hence save out on expensive medical bills. The patients can also keep a tab on the progress of their health by manually entering nutrition related data or undertaking psychological tests on the phone. A prototype testing is about to begin with full fledged trials beginning next year.
